SLIPKNOT, AUDIOSLAVE, SOAD Members To Perform At L.A. Benefit Concert

SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR's Corey Taylor, AUDIOSLAVE's Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, and SYSTEM OF A DOWN's Serj Tankian will be performing with other artists tomorrow — Thursday, December 18 — at the Roxy in West Hollywood, Ca. at a benefit for striking L.A. grocery store workers. All proceeds from the event, hosted by Janeane Garafolo, will go to the strike fund to help them buy Christmas presents for their families. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are on sale now through Ticketmaster and the Roxy box office. (No service charge at Roxy box office.) The event will feature additional performances by Alex Greenwald and Sam Farrar of PHANTOM PLANET, Lester Chambers of the CHAMBERS BROTHERS, and Boots Riley of THE COUP.
